The Dragon's Back​

The Dragon's Back is a well know photography location in the Peak District National Park.

​

I'd been earlier in the day (early morning in fact for sunrise) and bagged another shot (Storm over Earl Sterndale) but I really wanted a shot of Chrome Hill and the Dragon's Back.

So I returned in late afternoon for another try.

Parking at 'The Quiet Woman' Pub it's about a 30 minute walk to this view. The weather was very changeable and I bided my time to be rewarded with this break in the clouds and some wonderful light
